Cuddle Me, Kill Me is the latest and arguably the most powerful examination of South Africa’s captive lion breeding sector.  The book was published in South Africa in May 2018, and in Europe, the UK and the USA in August the same year. 

Richard’s next work on this subject is the film Lions, Bones & Bullets was released by Jagged Peak Films Limited in mid-2020.  The film is an investigative documentary which will present all aspects of the commercial exploitation which results from breeding lions in captivity.
